Acceptance of Agreement

By accessing or using the TeamStake website ("Site") and services ("Services"), you ("Member") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement"). If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use immediately.

These Terms are non-transferable. TeamStake reserves the right to transfer or assign these Terms or any obligation or right hereunder at any time without limitation.

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and TeamStake, superseding all prior agreements. We may amend this Agreement at any time, with changes posted on our website. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Eligibility & Membership

To use TeamStake, you must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of one of the 50 U.S. states or Washington D.C. Upon joining, members gain access to administrative features such as league creation, online payments, and secure fund storage.

Compliance with Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006

TeamStake is not to be used for unlawful gambling. Leagues must comply with the definition of fantasy sports play as outlined in the Act:

Outcomes must reflect skill and accumulated statistics from multiple real-world sporting events.
No outcome can be based on the performance of a single team or athlete in a single event.

Restricted Activities

By using TeamStake, Members agree not to:

Engage in fraud, money laundering, or illegal activities.
Hack the TeamStake infrastructure.
Use TeamStake as a gambling or escrow service.
Violate intellectual property rights.

Violations may result in account termination and legal action.

Payments

TeamStake provides a variety of payment options, which may change at any time. League and event hosts can use our platform for free or opt to collect a transparent, optional platform management fee.

All payments must be submitted by the deadline set by the Commissioner.
Refunds are available before the deadline and subject to review afterward.

Payout Verification & Allocation

TeamStake offers flexible payout structures set by the Commissioner. Verification options include:

Unanimous Approval: All members must approve the payout allocation.
Majority Approval: A majority vote is required.
Commissioner Control: The Commissioner determines the payout.

League members have 10 days to vote on payouts. Non-voting members will have an abstention vote cast automatically.

Payments to TeamStake & Fund Management

Funds deposited by members belong to TeamStake and may be pooled in accounts. Any interest earned is retained by TeamStake. Payout requests can be made at any time, subject to limits:

$3,000 per 24 hours
$8,000 per 30 days

Chargebacks or disputes may result in account freezes.

Referral Program

TeamStake may offer referral incentives based on league size and activity. Terms are subject to change and will be disclosed on our website.

Disputes

Intra-League Disputes

TeamStake does not mediate league disputes; members are responsible for resolving conflicts internally. However, if a dispute arises, TeamStake may offer arbitration services for a small fee at its discretion.

Disputes with TeamStake

Mediation & Arbitration:

Claims must be submitted in writing before arbitration.
Arbitration is binding and will be held virtually or in Scottsdale, Arizona.
No class, collective, or representative claims allowed.

Venue & Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Delaware. Any disputes must be resolved in Maricopa County.

Disclaimer of Warranties & Liability Limitations

TeamStake provides services "as is" with no warranties. We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or service interruptions. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the affected Member(s).

Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless TeamStake from any claims or damages resulting from their use of the Site and Services.

Privacy Policy

Use of the Site constitutes consent to our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

Endorsements & Sponsorships

TeamStake is not sponsored or endorsed by any sports leagues, associations, or players. Any references to such entities are not endorsements.
